Auschwitz & Krakow (Poland/Poland): The presence of music and culture in Auschwitz

With the aim of introducing a group of young European students and musicians (French, Austrian, Belgian, Portuguese) to the role of music in the Auschwitz concentration camps, this event is, as has already been done at many times in previous projects, one of the most ambitious and one of the best successes to wait for to support the testimony of memory. Through documentation and education, these young people from various parts of Europe will have tools to also transmit this particular and important memory of the atrocities of the Second World War and, more generally, of the dangers of totalitarian regimes. They will take part in workshops at the music school in Krakow and a guided tour of the museums of Auschwitz and Birkenau.

With the aim to give knowledge to a group of young Europeans (French, Austrian, Belgian, Portuguese) students and musicians about the role of music in Auschwitz concentration camps, this work package is, as it was already done a numerous amount of time in previous projects, one of the most ambitious and best success to look forward to sustain the testimony of remembrance. With documentation and education, these young people from various regions of Europe will have tools to transmit as well, this particular and important memory of the atrocity of the second world war and overall, the dangers of totalitarian regimes. They will have workshops in Krakows music school and a guided tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau's Museums.
